Louis Vuitton via Ghesquière
As expected Nicolas Ghesquière continued with his second -first resort- collection for Louis Vuitton, and it seems like Marc Jacobs’s shoes fits him perfectly.
I have been staring at this collection for about 25minutes thinking whether I like it or not. With a first look I wasn’t very excited but after seeing the show in motion I was quite convinced. Ghesquière has managed to create very good forms, the kind of Louis Vuitton forms we have only dreamt of, free from Mark Jacobs’s uncertain lane of design.
Ghesquière has brought a new feel to it with new prints and textures, new bag shapes, new fabrications, new models establishing a new Louis Vuitton vision.
